William Voeller – President
Certified Class A General Contractor licensed in the state of Florida with over 37 years of general construction experience. Bill started the company with a focus on construction for community programs, educational buildings, recreational facilities and single family homes. From the beginning, his “commitment to quality” created a reputation for exceeding expectations through superior quality work. As a company, Voeller Construction always strives to do the right thing for its clients, while providing world-class service, no matter the size of the project. Under Bill’s direction, Voeller Construction has to its credit; mid-rise, deep foundation, ocean-front multi-family residential, commercial structures, industrial build-outs, office buildings, medical buildings, dormitories, financial institutions, retail centers and religious facilities. His extensive knowledge, leadership, and demand for his employees to honor the core values that made Voeller Construction successful has been integral to the success of each project.
Dennis Jones – Project Manager
Dennis has over 40 years experience in the construction industry with a proven track record in Construction Management. His skill sets are defined by his vast experience in the Hospitality Industry. A member of Marriott’s Construction Management Group building Marriott’s Orland World Center, Marriott’s San Antonio River Center and Marriott’s Philadelphia Convention Center. His experience also includes Construction Management of Kessler Collection of Boutique Hotels El Monte Sagrado Resort, Bohemian Hotel Savannah and Grand Bohemian Hotel Asheville.
Marek Butcher – Project Manager
Marek has over 11 years experience in Florida coastal custom luxury home building in the United States and more recently, 7 years experience in Doha, Qatar. In Qatar, he successfully managed the construction of a high end office block in Ras Laffan under strict Qatar Petroleum guidelines. Marek also managed a renovation for the Emir of Aatar’s Al Wajbah Palace. Additionally, he managed the construction of three public schools for the Qatar government utilizing his strengths in sub-structure/super structure/MEP/and final project delivery; encompassing “as built” drawings, O&M manuals, testing & commissioning procedures and all final turnover documentation. Marek is also a State of Florida General Contractor .He is a graduate of the University of Central Florida.
Kerry Goelz – Superintendent/Safety Manager
Kerry has directly managed projects for 32 years. His experience has included multimillion ground-up projects, notably; Eckerd’s Drug Stores, Columbia Restaurants, George Steinbrenner’s residence, Flowers Bakery Distribution Center, Steak-n-Shake restaurants, Rolland Park Middle School, Nelson Elementary School, Hammond Elementary School, Vision Works in Orlando and Tire Kingdom stores throughout the Southeast.
Kevin Messerian – Superintendent
Kevin has over 30 years experience in the construction industry. He spent a majority of his career with a construction management firm in New Jersey that specialized in multimillion dollar new construction and renovation type work in the banking industry. Kevin also has experience managing renovation work in a variety of assisted living facilities. He continuously delivered complex projects on schedule and within budget. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the New York Institute Of Technology.
Rona Bale – Project Coordinator
Rona has over 20 years experience in the construction industry, including both commercial and residential. She has held various positions throughout her career, including Project Management and Accounting. In her role at Voeller Construction, she assists in all aspects of projects including, but not limited to preparing contracts, billing, AP, and project management. Prior to joining Voeller Construction, Rona worked for the State of Florida.
Brandie McGowan – Construction Administrator
Brandie began her career in the telecommunications industry in 1999 and continued in that field until January 2016. Over the course of her career, she was fortunate enough to gain knowledge on both sides of the coin, as she has been both a customer as well as a provider. Brandie worked remotely in Florida for the following states: Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, Indiana and California. With the ever changing technology of telecommunications, this required a fast pace learning experience not only with equipment specs and engineering but with the requirements that each municipality demands. Her passion for commercial build-outs has led her to Voeller Construction so that she may broaden her career in the world of general contracting.
Cheryl Yarbrough – Construction Administrator
Cheryl K. Yarbrough has worked in the Construction Industry for over 19 years. As a Construction Administrator, Cheryl has worked with various Tampa Bay area General Contractors in Heavy Highway, Underground Utility, Signalizations and Lighting specialties. She’s worked alongside Chief Estimators, Field Superintendents, Office Staff, Field Personnel, Subcontractors and Vendors from concept to close-out. Cheryl is a Past Member of ABC (Associated Building Contractors), Past Member of SUCA (Suncoast Utility Contractors Association) and Past Liaison for FDOT – Construction Career Days.
Sarah Earle- Construction Administrator
Sarah brings to Voeller years of varied administrative work experience. She has a college degree in Business Management and is pursuing a career in administration and accounting. As she is very proud of her abilities to perform under pressure, she maintains a very dependable, personable and dedicated attitude toward any project whether big or small. Her attention to detail and quality control has been a key factor in her success. She found that a career in construction is a great way to exercise her passion for small businesses and enjoys being a part of the Voeller Construction Team.
Carey Higgins – Office Manager
Carey has over 15 years of diverse experience in Sales & Marketing and Office Management. She is experienced in all facets of construction office management and accounting including job cost accounting and reporting, risk insurance management and audits, contract and subcontract administration and overall fiscal reporting. In her role at Voeller Construction, Carey is responsible for the daily financial management of the company and works with the CPA to improve upon internal controls. Prior to joining Voeller Construction, Carey’s experience included accounting positions with various Tampa Bay Finish Contractors, a Cabinet Contractor and a Tampa Bay Building Contractor. Carey is a graduate of Rhode Island College.
